PC Magazine Releases New Utility TaskPower 2Ziff Davis Internet |
Ziff Davis Internet's PCMag.com, the
premier online destination for technology buyers and enthusiasts, today
announced the launch of its new premium utility, TaskPower 2. With more unique
features and applications, TaskPower 2 is an updated version to one of the
most popular utilities from PC Magazine, putting system control directly into
a user's hands.
The latest version incorporate features from PCMag.com's powerful EndItAll
utility -- allowing users to terminate one or many applications, or their
entire system, with the click of a mouse -- and adds performance and
networking statistics similar to what's found in Windows Task Manager. Unlike
Task Manager, however, TaskPower 2 makes system management easy with plain-
English descriptions of applications, processes and resources, and a powerful,
intuitive interface that brings all of a system's process information into one

navigating cumbersome Windows menus. Quickly determine which
applications, tasks and services are hogging CPU and memory usage and
shut them down if they're unnecessary.
- View DLLs (dynamic link libraries) used by any application or task,
allowing users to see exactly what modules an application is using
- Observe network usage and bandwidth
