AGI Offers New Interactive FreewareAnalytical Graphics, Inc |
Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI)
announces today the introduction of AGI Viewer - a free, easy-to-use software
tool that enables people of any technical level to view, interact with, or
embed the comprehensive aerospace and national security analyses generated by
AGI's STK software suite.
AGI Viewer users can utilize 4-D scenes encrypted within Viewer Data
Format (VDF) files. These files are created with STK/Author, a new software
module released in STK Version 6.1. STK/Author allows STK v6.1 users to save
scenarios from any of their licensed STK products as VDF files, and share them
with anyone - both STK users and non-users alike - who has AGI Viewer. In
addition to controlled playback of these STK scenes, AGI Viewer users also can
zoom and pan; create high-resolution screen snaps and movies; or embed this
dynamic output in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, or HTML.
"AGI Viewer will certainly extend the value of STK to a much broader
audience," says Francesco Linsalata, AGI's chief operating officer. "People
from any technical background can now add a whole new dimension of
communication to their proposals, presentations, or deliverables by
incorporating AGI Viewer's dynamic 4-D scenes."
AGI Viewer is available as a free download or CD request at
http://www.agi.com/viewer. More information on how STK users can create VDF
files for AGI Viewer users can be found at http://www.agi.com/author.
