Description: MaxType LITE Typing Tutor is a free typing tutor for Windows. This program allows you not only to test and practice your typing skills with any *.txt file, but to print out your test diplomas (statistical data will give you the information about 20 (!) parameters of your typing) and even replay the mtr-record file of your own typing. Built-in Extreme Typing mode allows you to compete in speed of typing against any mtr-record file from your collection. The following functional features are available in Lite Edition:
- Qwerty", "Dvorak", "Azerty" and Russian keyboard layouts support
- Multiple-users interface - accounts can be password-protected. Flexible settings for each user.
- Measures typing speed in CPS, CPM or WPM
- Measures typing speed for each hand
- Generates beautirul report with a lot of statistical data which can be printed as well
- The following 2 different modes of learning will make the learning process varied and interesting:
- Extreme Typing mode is an effective means of working on your typing speed. It allows you to compete with an opponent, who can be set according to your typing level, for a typing speed in a chosen text. Another unique feature of this mode is that the record of your own typing (a MTR file) at a wanted replay speed (from 0.1x to 4.0x) can be your opponent.
- Typing Test mode gives a possibility of statistical evaluation of your typing according to 20 (!) parameters of any txt-file.
- Files with your lessons recorded will be saved in the history, and will reflect the dynamics of your learning. You can look through any file of your typing record and visually appraise your technique and typing speed from the outside!
- A large set of statistical data will give you the information about 20 (!) parameters of your typing. You will find answers to such interesting questions as: which hand types faster and more accurately, which fingers misprint more often etc.
- The integrated library of texts for typing includes special exercises, lyrics of popular singers, articles, as well as listings in different programming languages to improve skills at touch typing in specialists
- The reference system contains detailed information about the most effective use of functional features of this program.
