- Split screen with integrated Drives and Tracks Navigator:
Managing your audio files and projects is now easier than ever before. The new Drives and Track Navigator on the left side of the screen is modeled on the Windows Explorer for intuitive operation. It enables you to navigate your hard disks to find your audio files and add them to your projects in record time, using Drag & Drop, double-click or the menu and toolbar commands. Or you can just drag files into the application from the Windows Explorer.
- MP3 AutoChecking:
There are many different sources for MP3 tracks and it's quite common to find tracks that are damaged, corrupt or produced with poor or outdated software or tools. The new MP3 AutoChecking feature in AudioCD MP3 Studio Suite automatically performs a thorough check on every MP3 track you add to your projects. If your tracks pass this test you can burn them to CD with confidence.
- Local saving of your CDDB® track and album info:
When you obtain online track and album info for your audio CDs from the Gracenote CDDB® database the data is now automatically stored on your hard disk. The next time you insert the same CD the data is displayed automatically; you don't need to go online again.
- ID3 tag editing for MP3 tracks:
The Title, Artist, Album and other track details in your MP3 files are all stored in a special data header at the beginning of the file in what are known as "ID3 tags". All the Properties functions of AudioCD MP3 Studio Suite now display and allow you to edit the ID3 tag information. This information is automatically stored with the MP3 tracks and displayed by all MP3 players that support this function. The track details you obtain with the CDDB function are also automatically written to the ID3 tags in the MP3 tracks.
- ID3 tag information in WAV files:
AudioCD MP3 Studio Suite doesn't only store the ID3 tag information in MP3 files. The new version now also stores the Title, Artist and Album details with WAV files and displays them automatically when you add these files to an Audsi playlist. (This function only works with WAV files generated with AudioCD MP3 Studio Suite. These files are fully compatible with all other audio applications.)
